While the present day mobile manufacturers are opting more and more for a bigger mobile screen, Sony is trying to put the same features of its high-end smartphones into smaller sized phones, their compact range. The company is been experimenting for a while now by bringing compact range of their high-end smartphones into the market. And after their last release of Xperia Z3 Compact, they are back with their new smartphone in this compact range, the Xperia Z5 compact. And we must say that their experiment of putting powerful specs into a smaller smartphone is actually really good.
The Xperia Z5 compact carries almost all same specs as its bigger sibling Z5 but in a more comfortable to hold body. The 4.6-inch smartphone is powered by 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, has 2GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory expendable using a microSD. The mobile runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports single Nano sim.
The mobile sports the same 23-MP camera as used in the standard Xperia Z5 and the shots and 4K video quality is exactly the same as the other Z5 variants, and is brilliant. The front 5-MP camera is also good if not the best to take selfies.
The non-removable 2700 mAh battery works decent for the daily normal use of the phone that includes checking emails and calls throughout day and paying games once or twice and listening to music occasionally. The phone is both waterproof and dust proof like its siblings.
The fingerprint scanner incorporated in the power button is both fast and accurate every time you use it. Also the gaming performance of this smartphone is almost as good as its sibling though the smaller screen size might not be as immersive as standard Z5.
But with all its powerful features and its compact size that fits perfectly in your palm and makes it extremely comfortable to work on, the Xperia Z5 compact is surely the best mini android phone in the market at present. Highly recommended for those who need a powerful device that you can easily work on with a single hand.
